"You’re a freshly employed ornithologist when, to your shock, your high school rival suddenly wants to meet. You remember never getting along, so their offer to hang out leaves you stumped. Why now, after all this time?
His name is Lyric Wendel—the only other self-proclaimed bird expert that you knew in your youth. He’s still the same guy who annoys you, but something feels off. There’s something he's hiding—a deep sadness beneath his mask. While he praises your successes, he casually mentions that he’s leaving town soon.
